Born and raised in Hong Kong, Bowie is a lifelong learner of what it truly means to be human. She fights for environmental and social justice for every person (human beings and more-than-human beings) through regenerative practices, creating decolonial and alterNative economies and spaces, and honouring and celebrating First Nations, Pueblos Originarios, Native and Indigenous peoples and cultures, and nature.
