I love this article but a small skepticism lingers... Our economic system is so traumatising and broken that we might just turn D Corps into another marketable, green-washed concept. Our self-esteem is so inextricably tied to social status, $$$ in our bank accounts, how much things we own, etc... perhaps we need a healing economy that allows us to value community, environmental regeneration, and Mother Earth's gifts. Maybe then nature's rights will be the priority and extractivism will finally end.
