Thank you for this summary. I didn't know that biodiversity credits are already quite widespread. Do you think biodiversity credits will fall into/ has fallen into the same issue as carbon credits i.e., offshoring biodiversity conservation to some places while destroying others, justifying continuous destruction by holding biodiversity credits, commodifying nature and measuring biodiversity with anthropocentricity?
