For me, the term 'regenerative' is more than minimizing damage, but a hopeful way forward that recognises our ability to heal the trauma in ourselves and in our land. Many indigenous and native communities have been doing this without calling it 'regeneration'. I appreciate you calling out the human self-righteousness-- we certainly don't need more of that!
